One of my favorite neighborhoods in League City is The Park on Clear Creek. It's one of those communities behind an ivy covered brick wall that you could easily drive by, but drive exactly one mile west of 45 on 518 and look to the right and you'll be there.
This is one of only a couple gated communities with direct access to Clear Creek through a private neighborhood boat ramp. The ramp is in the back of the neighborhood and as you drive up to it; you'll see the beautiful 600 ft. boardwalk to the left.
The boardwalk crosses over a cove in Clear Creek and winds up on the other side of the neighborhood where you experience a mile of nature trails--very picturesque and a great place to walk or exercise.
This neighborhood began in 2005 and features Village Builders and Trendmaker homes with sizes ranging from 2600-4500 square feet. The neighborhood which has 171 homes was completed in 2008.
I have a lot of personal experience with the neighborhood as my wife and I bought the seventh home built in the neighborhood. We watched as the neighborhood grew from just a few homes until it was completed and we saw the care the developer took to plant vegetation along the walking trail and boardwalk areas that really complemented the existing habitat.
A very tranquil, small neighborhood with the added security benefit of one entrance and exit, the fantastic trails and access to Clear Lake via Clear Creek and you've got the makings of a great place to call home.
Homes range from the 280's to low 400's.
