Over the last decade, Piney Point homes posted a median sales price appreciation rate of as much as 108%.  This tremendous increase illustrates the overall strength of Piney Point real estate market.

This can be highly attributed to the increasing trend of replacing old ranch style homes with custom-built homes that exude luxury living.

1.  Piney Point Houston’s 10-year median sales price increased by 108%.

Property values of Piney Point homes for sale remains one of the strongest in the area, with its impressive price change from $1,346,500 in 2005 to $2,797,500 in 2014 – an striking 108% increase.

2.  Average price per square foot is at an all-time high.

Due to the trend of updating homes, the average price per square foot in Piney Point is now at its highest.  From its $243 value in 2005, Piney Point homes now sell for $425 per square feet, a 75% increase in just 10 years.

3.  Land prices have a remarkable 109% increase in the past 10 years.

Land prices per square foot also posted 109% appreciation rate from $22 to $46 in just a decade.  This is largely due to the increasing demand of properties in the neighborhood.

4.  Piney Point homes one year price change netted 15%.

Although Piney Point Houston real estate’s one-year price change only posted a 15% increase, its real estate market remains strong and is expected to move positively in the coming years.  Lot prices continue to increase; posting a 48% increase from 2013 to 2014 and this will push the median sales price up.
