Martina McNickles is a residential specialist with Realinc's Office of Jason T. Hyman. As an agent with a professional background in urban planning, she helps clients view the neighborhoods they're considering comprehensively. She has always been passionate about the built environment and how it shapes how we live, work, and play. She is excited to leverage her experiences to help you navigate the complex real estate market confidently and easily. As a military spouse, Martina is especially attuned to the unique needs and opportunities available for military members and their families. With a Master of Urban Planning and Environmental Policy from Texas Southern University and experience working with GIS mapping technologies, Martina has developed a deep understanding of the factors that influence real estate. She is an active lifetime member and volunteer in the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council and serves on Texas Southern University's ITEC Advisory Board. Her transition to real estate was a natural progression from her academic and professional experience and she's excited to make a positive impact in her clients' lives.

For twenty years I have been in real estate. Selling it is much better suited for my personality than appraising, but it's not because I'm sales-y. I moved to this side of real estate because I just wanted to help people not make a mistake in buying property. Sometimes I feel more like a counselor, and I talk people out of properties all the time, both commercial and residential, but isn't that what we're here for? To offer our opinion and guide, based on our expertise? Meaning: experience + intuition + industry/market/local knowledge. I didn't switch gears to make it big, I switched so I could be a helper.

Experience: Eighteen years of successful sales experience serving the Pearland, Missouri City, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Katy, and Houston Galleria areas as a Realtor and Previously Store Manager and Market Sales Trainer for The Mattress Firm.

Background: Being a native Houstonian and having lived in Sugar Land, Missouri City, and Manvel/Pearland, areas I bring my clients professional and local market expertise.

Education: Proud Alumni of the University of Houston where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and was active in various organizations including President of the Association for Women in Communications. I currently reside in Manvel, TX and am on the Planning, Zoning, and Development board for Manvel.
