I have always been excited by the phenomenal growth the Fort Bend County area has experienced. When our young family moved to Sugar Land in the 1980s it seemed like Sugar Land was as far as civilization extended, or at least that was as far as people were willing to travel to get home. That was a long time ago, and perceptions have really changed. It was before Highway 59 was totally rebuilt, Highway 6 was transformed from the two lane road it once was, and the Grand Parkway came to be.
