How To Pick the Right Listing Agent

February 22nd, 2016

Most people chose a friend to use as their agent.  This can be a good choice but also a nightmare.  It is best to use an agent in the neighborhood who also lives there and is actively selling the area.  Secondly you need to look on har.com to look at the agents work.  Did thy post the maximum pictures?  Did they write underneath the pictures?  Is the write up appealing to buyers?  Did they use great photography?  The answer should be yes to all of those.  If not, you should keep looking.  Once a sign is up, another agent cannot call the homeowner.  I have had homes for sale near my house and I cringe when I see the work and the low price.  Some of these sellers are trusting an agent who does not know the area.  They may be underpriced by 30K and when the home sells in a day, they think their agent was great.  In real estate 10 percent of the agents do 90 per cent of the business.  Make sure that you chose one of the 10 per cent.
